Underground mines, open-pit operations and mineral extraction sites put fabric through extreme abrasion and rock dust, and frequently require high-visibility marking on top of durability. XM Textiles’ industrial-clothing fabrics are built for this duty cycle, with FR and hi-vis certified options where the site requires them.

Where a hi-vis requirement applies on site, fabric is specified against EN ISO 20471.
High-visibility signalling — Class 1, 2 or 3 depending on the fluorescent and reflective material area.
