This is a new generation reflective material. It is more comfortable due to lower weight and better flexibility and is easily applied by heat transfer.
XM-8010 is actuXM-8010 is actually a PU film developed for use on FR clothing, it is made with reflective micro-beads and flame retardant substance with high durability properties.
XM-8010 Corsica HT Triple Trim has been tested and certified for high visibility according to EN 20471 and also for flame retardant properties according to EN 469. Testing was carried out at AITEX laboratory (Spain) after 50 wash cycles at 60°C.
HT FR (Heat Transfer Flame Retardant) films have a solid construction with less breathability than HT Segmented. However, even HT films are more flexible and lighter than sewn-on reflective tapes.
Both HT and HTS types of XM-8000 tapes are highly reflective materials (e.g. CORSICA HTS has R>500 cd/lx*m2) with durable flame resistance.
The 8000 series reflective tapes are our latest development, so we strongly recommend that you test the adhesion of the tape on a sample of FR clothing. It is also a good idea to wash the FR garment with the tape applied.
To correctly apply XM-8000 Series HT Reflective Tape to FR garments, please read the instructions and follow them step by step.
We recommend that you follow the care instructions to prolong the life of your heat transfer reflective tape.
