TS-100 is a transparent tape for sealing stitched seams on fabrics with PU and PVC coatings. Bonded over the stitch line from the coated side, it closes the needle perforations and makes the seam fully waterproof.
The tape is a single-layer PVC film carrying a polyurethane hot-melt adhesive. At 0.12 mm total it stays thin and flexible, so the sealed seam keeps its handle and does not stiffen. The adhesive face is matte and easy to identify. In production the tape is applied on a hot-air seam sealing machine; for repairs and sampling a domestic iron is enough.
What the tape does
- Seals needle perforations against water and wind ingress
- Distributes load along the seam and reduces the risk of thread failure
- Protects the seam from abrasion and stops the coating cracking along the stitch line
- Keeps the seam elastic when the fabric stretches

Application
- Identify the adhesive side — it is the matte surface.
- Place the tape matte-side down over the seam, on the coated (inner) face of the fabric.
- Cover with paper or dry cotton cloth.
- Press with a hot iron, or run through a hot-air seam sealing machine, until the bond is firm.
- Check that no bubbles or creases remain.

Before bulk production: results vary with the fabric, the machine and the working conditions. Test each fabric individually before running a full batch. Send us your fabric and we will advise on the settings.
Consumption: approximately 5–10 m of tape per garment, depending on construction and total seam length. Allow a margin for overlaps and complex areas.
Note: the tape is transparent but still slightly visible on the surface — always apply it to the inside face of the product.
