On April of 2017 XM FireLine received full Poseidon-300 EN 20471 certificates for contrast colors (grey and dark navy).
Poseidon-300 is a flame retardant poly-cotton fabric with high content of cotton (80%), excellent tensile and tearing strength improved by addition of polyester and antistatic yarn.
This fabric is ideal to use for Oil and Gas industries and it suits well both for rig-chiefs jackets and trousers and for oil-pipeline workers uniforms.
The Testing was done at independent international laboratory AITEX (Spain).
According to standard EN 20471 for contrast colours fabric, Poseidon-300 has been successfully passed all the following tests:
– COLOUR FASTNESS TO RUBBING
– COLOUR FASTNESS TO PERSPIRATION
– COLOUR FASTNESS TO DOMESTIC AND COMMERCIAL LAUNDERING
You can order additional Multi-Risk treatment, that makes it water repellent and also resistant to the influence of acids, alkali, grease and oil.
Poseidon-300 is fully certified to EN 11611 (CLASS 1), EN 11612, EN 13034, EN 61482-1-2.
