FR fabric Poseidon-300 renews EN 13034

EN 13034, Poseidon-300 / December 12, 2018

November 2018, our flame retardant fabric Poseidon-300 has been re-certified for EN 13034:2005+A1:2009 (Protection clothing against liquid chemicals). Due to  XM FireLine™ has re-tested this flame retardant fabric in AITEX (Spain), because EN 13034 certificate is valid only for 5 years.
EN 13034 Standard includes fabric testing in various ways to determine its physical parameters and resistance to chemicals. There were 4 chemical compounds (H2SO4, NaOH, n-heptane and isopropanol) used for the testing.
According to standard EN 13034 Poseidon-300 has been successfully passed all the following tests:

Poseidon 300 is a high quality poly-cotton fabric with high content of cotton, improved by addition of polyester and antistatic yarn. It is developed for workers of Oil and Gas industries and it suits well both for rig-chiefs jackets and trousers and for oil-pipeline workers uniforms.
This fr-fabric protects from Heat & Flame, Electric Arc and has Multi-Risk protection. Poseidon-300 is certified according to ISO 13034, ISO 11611, ISO 11612 & EN 1149-5. 
The testing for this standards has been done in AITEX (Spain) and BTTG (UK) labs.
