Fenix-245 certified to EN 13034 | XM Textiles

Alicante, ES – JULY 22, 2021 – XM Textiles announced today its Fenix-245 workwear fabric has been certified by the Aitex (Spain) to EN 13034 safety standard.

Fenix-245 is a durable fabric made of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, weights 245gsm, weave twill 2/1. The fabric also has additionl WR finish. Fenix-245 best fits to the quality work jackets and work pants.

Poly-Cotton Workwear fabric is a type of polyester-cotton fabric developed for various types of workwear, uniform and corporate clothing. Our poly-cotton workwear fabrics provide an optimal thread width and weave type to guarantee proper strength properties and excellent hygienic characteristics. Special final finishes and quality dyestuff allow us to achieve a high grade of colour-fastness, high temperature of washing and a low percentage of shrinkage. These fabrics almost do not lose shape, don’t crease, have a small shrinkage index and good colour-fastness. They wash easily and show best breathing, hygroscopic and durability properties.

EN 13034 certification involved test for Abrasion, Tear and Puncture resistance, Tensile strength, Liquid repellency and Resistance to penetration by liquids (x 5 washing cycles, 6N, Tumble Dryer F).

Now we can say Fenix-245 has reached high level of durability and performance to PASS the certification and go to the clients.
