RainBlock-140 HV Orange certified to EN 20471

November 11, 2021 – XM Textiles Rainblock-140 certified workwear fabric (HV Orange) Certificate for EN 20471 safety standard.

RAINBLOCK-140

RainBlock-140 is a fabric with water resistant properties, as well as mechanical 4-way stretch, Rainblock was designed for functional and comfortable outdoor jackets and raincoats.

EN 20471:2013 specifies requirements for high visibility clothing which is capable of visually signalling the user’s presence. The high visibility clothing is intended to provide conspicuity of the wearer in any light condition when viewed by operators of vehicles or other mechanized equipment during daylight conditions and under illumination of headlights in the dark.

EN 20471 certification involved tests for colour performance requirements and color fastness as new and after different test exposures like Rubbing, Perspiration, Laundry and Water vapour resistance, Domestic washing 5 cycles at 60⁰C.
