Protec-245 Stretch is a heavyweight polycotton workwear fabric reinforced with PBT for 2-way stretch and shape recovery. SHELLFLEX-265 is a 90% nylon / 10% spandex plain-weave fabric at 265 gsm. Nylon gives the highest abrasion and tear resistance of the common workwear fibres, and the spandex adds stretch and recovery for freedom of movement. It is used for work trousers and jackets — especially as reinforcement on shoulders, elbows and knees — for tactical and security uniforms, and for backpacks and luggage where durability and flexibility both count. The heavier SHELLFLEX-300 ULTRA covers the same applications at a higher weight.
