CleanStatic-110 is a lightweight antistatic fabric: 98% polyester woven with 2% Belltron conductive yarn, gridlocked into the surface of the fabric. The grid gives static charge a controlled path to earth, so it dissipates instead of releasing as a spark.[show_more more="Show more" less="Show less" color="#629e11" align="left" ] That matters wherever a discharge is expensive or dangerous: cleanroom and electronics-assembly garments, where a spark destroys components, and any workplace where charge build-up is a hazard. At 110gsm in a plain 1/1 weave this is the lightest fabric in the CleanStatic range, chosen where breathability and low weight outweigh abrasion resistance; CleanStatic-140 and CleanStatic-180 cover the heavier end. Tested to EN 1149-5 and EN 61340-5-1, with EN 1149-5 performance re-verified after 50 wash cycles at 40°C, and certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.[/show_more]
