Flame Retardant fabric
A specialized fabric designed for multi-protective clothing. Recommended for the production of clothes for welders and related professions. Used in clothing for the heavy industry, chemical industry, energy industry, including specialist insulated clothing, and for other professions where it is necessary to wear protective clothing against heat and flames, accidental contact with chemicals or discharges. Available in basic colors and yellow fluo.[show_more more="Show more" less="Show less" color="#629e11;" align=”left” ]Clothes made of fabric are characterized by high strength and durability in use. Cotton ensures comfort in all conditions, perfectly absorbs sweat and is breathable. This fabric is resistant to tearing and tearing thanks to the addition of polyester. It provides protection against hot factors and metal splashes even after 25 washing cycles. Thanks to the acid-protective finish, it is resistant to accidental contact with specific chemicals but also with water and dirt. Antistatic properties obtained thanks to the construction with the use of antistatic fibers. A special production process ensures color fastness and dimensional stability after washing at 60˚C. The fabric has a certificate of compliance with the European standard for workwear: EN 13688 and standards for protective clothing: EN 11611: Protective clothing used during welding; EN 11612: Clothing for protection against heat and flame and EN 1149: Protective clothing – Electrostatic properties; EN 13034 type 6 PB: Protective clothing against liquid chemicals. IEC 61482-1-2 Protective clothing against the thermal hazards of an electric arc. The product complies with Oeko-tex® Standard.[/show_more]

Flame Retardant fabric
Volcano is a multifunctional flame retardant fabric made from a cotton-nylon blend. The fabric also contains antistatic carbon yarn. Stylish Satin 4/1 weave. Volcano is widely used for FR clothing for oil and gas companies.[show_more more="Show more" less="Show less" color="#629e11;" align=”left” ] Volcano is an innovative flame retardant fabric made from a cotton-nylon blend that is extremely tear resistant and durable. This durability allows for a sufficiently increased life cycle of flame retardant clothing. With Volcano, you do not have to sacrifice safety, because at a weight of only 260 gsm (7.7oz), Volcano meets the requirements of HRC level 2 (defined by NFPA 70E) with ATPV 8.2 cal/cm2. An antistatic carbon yarn is embedded in the surface of Volcano, making it safe for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. To prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) sparks, antistatic fibres safely dissipate static electricity, eliminating the risk of fire and explosion. Volcano FR fabric is also certified to EN ISO 11612 and EN ISO 11611 standards for protective clothing. Volcano also has an additional multi-risk treatment that provides extra protection against acids, oil, grease and water. The multi-risk properties are confirmed by the ISO 13034 certificate. Volcano is an excellent choice for FR clothing for oil and gas companies working in warm or hot climates. With its elegant and smooth satin weave, Volcano garments look impeccable on offshore rig chiefs as well as oil company office managers.[/show_more]

Flame Retardant – Sewing Threads
XM-60 is a high-tenacity sewing thread spun from 100% meta-aramid staple fiber. The 30S/3 three-ply construction delivers the seam strength, abrasion resistance and dimensional stability required for protective workwear that must survive repeated industrial laundering and high-temperature exposure.[show_more more="Show more" less="Show less" color="#629e11" align="left" ]Meta-aramid’s flame-retardant property comes from the polymer itself, so the thread will not melt or drip and its FR performance is permanent — well-suited to pairing with both inherent FR fabrics and durable FR-treated fabrics across the XM Fireline range. Tested and certified XM-60 30S/3 has been independently tested by AITEX (Spanish Textile Research Institute, ENAC-accredited laboratory) against the sewing thread requirement of EN 61482-2:2020 — the European standard for protective clothing against the thermal hazards of an electric arc.
Test method: EN ISO 3146:2000 Method B (Differential Scanning Calorimetry per EN ISO 11357-3:2018) Pass criterion: No melting at 260 °C ± 5 °C
XM-60 result: No melting observed across the full test range up to 300 °C
Report reference: AITEX 2025EP0638 (issued 28 February 2025)
This certifies XM-60 as suitable for use in structural seams of arc-flash protective clothing built to EN 61482-2:2020, and confirms its thermal stability for use in garments certified to EN ISO 11612 (heat & flame), EN ISO 11611 (welding), EN 469 (firefighter clothing) and NFPA 2112 / NFPA 70E systems. XM-60 also holds OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification, verifying it is free from harmful substances and safe for prolonged skin contact.
Key performance
Does not melt — verified to 300°C in DSC testing Char temperature ≈ 400°C, decomposition above 425°C (typical of meta-aramid) Inherently flame retardant — FR performance is permanent and laundry-stable Compatible with all major FR fabric systems: meta-aramid, para-aramid, FR cotton (inherent and treated), FR cotton/nylon, modacrylic blends and PBI
