This fabric is ideally suited for emergency services (EMS clothing), firefighting and special forces clothing, naval uniforms and military pilots’ flight suits. Artex-210 is also suitable for FR bibs and overalls for workers in the oil and gas, chemical and power industries. Artex-210 fabric provides protection against fire, open flame and electric arc. The inherent thermal protection will not wash out. The fabric is very durable and super abrasion resistant. Other features of Artex-210 include light weight and good breathability, which gives extra comfort to the wearer. Due to the integrated antistatic carbon yarn, Artex prevents the build-up of electrostatic discharge (ESD) and eliminates the possibility of explosions in oil, gas and other industries. Artex-210 has been certified in the BTTG (UK) laboratory to ISO 11612, EN 1149-5, EN 469. Artex-210 has been certified in AITEX (Spain) laboratory to EN 469.
