This fabric is ideally suited for emergency services (EMS clothing), firefighting and special forces clothing, naval uniforms and military pilot flight suits. Artex-180 is also suitable for FR bibs and overalls for workers in the oil and gas, chemical and power industries. Artex-180 fabric provides protection against fire, open flame and electric arc. The inherent thermal protection will not wash out. The fabric is very durable and super abrasion resistant. Other features of Artex-180 include low weight and good breathability, which gives extra comfort to the wearer. Due to the integrated antistatic carbon yarn, Artex prevents the build-up of electrostatic discharge (ESD) and eliminates the possibility of explosions in oil, gas and other industries. Artex-180 has been certified by BTTG (UK) laboratory to ISO 11612 and EN 1149-5 standards.
