XM-70 40S/3 are durable, flame retardant sewing threads. Due to their composition (100% meta-aramide), the threads can withstand high temperatures for a long time without melting. They retain their strength up to 260°C. At higher temperatures (above 370°C) the carbonization process starts. XM-70 sewing threads have high colour fastness and can be washed several times.
Available in a wide range of colours.
The aramid fire resistant threads ХМ-70 are recommended for sewing medium weight FR fabrics, 260 g/m² to 350 g/m².
